Consulting Bootcamp

On May 6, I offered a free, one-day Consulting Bootcamp.  Twelve post-MBA professionals attended.  On the feedback form, all attendees indicated that they would recommend the session to a friend. Consulting Bootcamp is designed to be highly interactive, since in most cases we learn best by doing, not by listening to a lecture. During the day we use a case study, and we break into small groups that define the problem, structure the problem using an issue tree, create a data request and interview guides.

I wrote the document below to accompany the course.  I encourage you to share it, and incorporate whatever you find useful into your own training materials. I've left it as a Word document to make it easy to copy sections you find helpful. I do ask as a courtesy that you reference this site as the source. And check back, since this is a work in progress and I'll be working on updating it and expanding it significantly.
